And Then

Standard

Love.

Cosmic infinity.

Beyond words.

Our souls were one

Before the birth of

Twilight.

When the stars

Were sleeping.

Still

Yet dreaming.

When the dust of the earth

Drifted in space

Searching and longing

For a place to meet and

Create

The beginning.

Before.

When the air was dark.

Still heavy

And craving.

Wishing only to be

Inhaled.

Completely consumed

By

Light and Love.

And then,

And Always,

We were

One.

Sing Me Home

Standard

Sing me home.

I hear your voice

Soft and faint.

Urging me

Guiding me.

I know you wait

Patiently.

I may climb

I may crawl

I may fly.

I may never grasp the reasons why.

But in the souls journey,

There is not a clock.

Time does not exist.

What feels like an eternity

In the inborn need

To unite

May be just

A blink

Of the eye

To the

Flesh and Bone.

Sorry

Standard

Sorry if I flinch

When you make a sudden movement.

Sorry if I recoil

From your touch.

Sorry if I jump in response

To an unexpected noise.

Sorry if I don’t talk

All that much.

Sorry I can’t look you in the eye when

You speak to me.

Sorry if it seems I

Utter words in whispers.

Sorry if I am too sorry

You see,

It’s become

First nature

For me.

The Oceans Edge

Standard

I am going to sleep

And in my dreams I will meet you

On the oceans edge.

Where the waves come

To kiss the shore

And stir the sand.

There I will stand.

Where they greet each other

With a never ending caress.

Never to rest.

They have become the motion,

The waves of the ocean.

Always coming back for more

The waters crave the shore.

Traveling the curves of the

Earth

To Embrace.

Dancing with grace,

Ever longing

For the magical song of the

Moon.

Expectations

Standard

So who sold you that neat little

Blueprint

For the perfectly shaped box of

Expectations

You built?
You thought you followed the Directions and built it right
Now you cannot figure why
You are living such an empty
Life.
Is it going well dragging it around like A ball and chain?

Did you think you would play it like a simple Game?
Do all of the disappointments
Have you crawling around
On the ground?
I know you tried to fix it up
In pretty ribbons
And bows.
I hope you have

Finally figured it out.
I hope you know.
You need to smash it baby.
Drop it on the floor
And kick it out the door.
Life’s a roller coaster
You have to let go.
Break your

Expectations

Limitations.
Take a running leap
And
Soar.
