Sing me home.
I hear your voice
Soft and faint.
Urging me
Guiding me.
I know you wait
Patiently.
I may climb
I may crawl
I may fly.
I may never grasp the reasons why.
But in the souls journey,
There is not a clock.
Time does not exist.
What feels like an eternity
In the inborn need
To unite
May be just
A blink
Of the eye
To the
Flesh and Bone.

You touch me
And I hold my breath
Not wanting to make a sound.
Your eyes hold me.
They keep me up.
I find I’m floating
Above the ground.
Your soul whispers
“Come out and Play.”
In response
I cannot stay.
I am found.
Your heart plays a melody.
I find myself dancing
To a song that has been silent
An eternity
It seems.
Your lips speak my name.
In response
I will never be the same.
