Her breath flutters the candle flame.
As she exhales
Destiny is awakened.
Ripples through time arise
And the tide alters
Before her.
In all directions
Wind and water disperse,
Only stillness remaining within and without.
Bow in gratitude to life.

We fight,
Oppose,
Titling winners or losers
When we are
All merely water,
Whether raindrop or river,
Flowing to
The same ocean.

Bath
Hotel.
I draw a hot bath, pouring generous amounts of bubble bath under the faucet.
I immerse myself slowly as the temperature of the water is a bit too hot.
White tub, white shower curtains,
White noise fan.
Speckled walls.
Sleepy eyelids closing.
I want to stay here and dream.
The water is getting chilly
And the faucet is dripping ice cold drops on my toes,
Reminding me this is no fairytale.
The fan is singing to me
And no one is asking me questions now.
I will stay just a little longer.
Linger just a little longer.
Linger just a little longer
As tears trickle
Down my skin eventually mixing with the bath water.
I will merely imagine
I am adrift in the ocean.

Breaking the
Barrier
Between us.
Transcend.
Accepting
Us,
Water droplets merging
On a blade of grass
As the morning sun breaks
Through the horizon creating warmth and
Magnification.

We become.

I walked on
And
I watched the
Eagles fly.
I hear the whoosh of the air
On their wings as they glide overhead.
The higher they go
The stronger my heartbeat.
And I heard the brush rustle
Nearby,
Turning just in time
To see 3 deer leaping into my path.
Alert and tentative.
For a moment I expect to see a predator on their heels.
But no.
And we gaze into each others eyes for what seems like time indefinite .
And i feel that whole lifetime of anxiety leave my bones.
Stillness fills my cells.
My mind clears and my heart swells.
Peace. I am as i am meant to be.
I find myself by the river where I immerse myself in nature’s song.
I become the water and the stones who mean
Each other no harm.
They merely add to the symphony.
As do I;
I know.
This is true.

All Around
I sense you but I know
Not
From which direction.
All around me it seems.
Waste no time in learning your lessons this journey
Through.
You promised you would find me
Once again
In
This life.
Where are you now?
I run knowing I must
Go to the river
Most hastily.
There i submerge myself completely
Knowing that
Someday the same water that touches
Me
Will in someway
Caress you.
On it goes,
And on and on.
Whether raindrop, river or ocean
It makes its way to you;
As will my heart.

Float
The faucet drips in the kitchen
The faucet drips in the shower.
I wade into the pool
Immersing myself in waters of emerald.
Floating on until my skin is soaked.
This is all
I will do today.
Watch the clouds and float.
