Do not take lightly the pain
Of another because they do not hurt like you,
(measuring with your eyes
that which cannot be poured into a cup)
Honor another’s soul (and your own)
And know that pain is pain;
yet again relative only to each persons heart and soul
experience.
We need to sit and listen more
Be gentle
Be love
Laugh
And validate
Look each other in the eyes
And say (to yourself as well)
“I know you exist.
I see you,
I feel you.
You are worthy
And you are enough.”
You beautiful soul
Who led you to believe
You have made to many mistakes to be loved?
Love them,
For with their eyes they see
Merely flesh.
They do not recognize their
Own souls.
They have forgotten their
Hearts;
Misplaced love.
These weary legs of mine
Have carried me when my heart
Believed I was done.
When my eyes saw only shadows
My soul ignited a fire that lit the way
So I could see.
And I go,
I go on.
All is silent in the aftermath.
All that is given can readily be taken away
Just as in life and death
To those that hold no honor
In their heart
For the soul of another.
I am learning to breathe

Eyes to the sky.

Embracing these feelings,
Allowing myself to cry.

Settle my mind.
Mother Earth always knows how to
Speak to my soul.
She knows without hesitation
What to say in the silence.
At this time
You may not require the burning light
Of the sun
To revive yourself.
It might feel too harsh and the heat
Much too
Intense.
Sometimes it is the gentle
Caress
Of the moonlight you may wish for
To enlighten your heart.
The moon.
Ever steady,
Waxing and waning.
Both the moon and the sun give light freely.
Each
Have their own gift to offer
A soul in need.
Our ties
Deeper than the heart can feel.
Deeper than the mind can fathom.
Soul love oneness.
There are no words for this.
Live aware
Knowing it is.
Him.
There he is
So human.
Unaware
That he alone knows the poetry of my heart.
