Invigorate

Standard

Hot coffee in my hand.

Through fog

Christmas lights glow

As the snow begins

A gentle decent,

Dancing with the breeze

In the air.

A farewell to the sky

As the snowflake kisses

My skin, dissolving.

On to my morning destination

Loving the frigid sensation.

My senses now fully

Invigorated.

One Way

Standard

This is a one way ticket.

I am going to explore

Everything I can,

Everywhere I can

And look at life

At every angle.

Cutting ties as I set myself free

And up i go

As high as I can fly.

A

360 degree view

As all my senses open to receive energy.

Upside down and all

Around

I see.

I feel.

I breath.

I smile.

You Decide

Standard

A red cardinal over there,

A mesquite tree over here.

Mother Nature shows me many creations.

The smell of wet saltgrass and dirt

Fill my senses.

This oak tree I am under,

Her leaves shine as if coated in silver

As raindrops sparkle setting delight afire

Within my heart.

Nature presents herself

As is,

The individual decides whether she is beautiful or not.

Standard

I do not understand

Where it is you are

Reaching me.

Someplace

New,

Setting off a cataclysmic

Wave.

An eruption of thoughts

And

My synapses are firing steady

Filled with light and electric love.

Shaking cells flowing,

Skin tingling. Hair raising.

I feel your presence ,

Your direct approach

As you breech my perimeter.

Matter altering magic,

Eyes out of focus.

Senses magnified and restless as i smell

The charge in the the air.

I await your arrival in the veil.

A quantum kiss.

Out of mind and body.

Here, there,

Us

Dissolving to

Unify.

Would Never Guess

Standard

for most of her life

(more than less)

she was in a state of heightened

fight or flight

her head dizzy

her breathing uncontrolled

her senses and mind wired as tight as a cat ready to run

watching body language

reading expressions and eyes

listening to tone

holding her breath waiting to bolt or duck at any given moment

her whole body racing while standing still

as soon as someone spoke to her, her mind flooded with confusion.

why me? can’t you see i am the ugliest, stupidest most disgusting person here. i am slow

of thought and of no interest.

you must be mistaken.

I am no one.

But you would never guess. Or you might consider then brush it off. she smiles and nods her

head.

Have a nice day, she might say.

by the way she quickly moves away

you would never guess the weight she carries is so very heavy.
