By many with a
Plethora of “but this and that”;
Continue to live, speak
And move
Immersed in compassion; stillness.
Gentleness welcomes.
Allow love to emanate from even the twinkle in your eyes and the smile upon your face.
These gestures one thinks so small save souls.
Hope. Love. Peace.
There are days
A nod
And a small smile from a stranger
In passing
Have rescued her.
A moment noticed.
They move on
And the planet keeps spinning,
There are times
Sacred steps in nature
Have saved me from the world;
An untimely departure.
An otherworldly enchantment
Envelops me.
This sanity.
This insanity.
This pushing
And pulling is tearing me
In
Two.
I do not know which half to pursue.
I do not know
Which half to
Save.
So here I lie still as can be and hope
Neither can find me
Tonight.
I kneel to
Feel this;
Raw earth.
My tears
Of gratitude fall
For the wilderness has
At no time failed to
Save

From myself.
In her stone and softness,
Her life and decay.
Always replenishing.
Forever
Sharing
All that she has to give.
I have lived many lives in the wilderness.
On the velvet forest floor
I lie.
My eyes lift to the heavens
As she soothes my soul
And i know this;
All
Is now as it ever has been and will be;
As it should be.
I was falling
From the stars
When
You caught me in
Your heart.
You saved me from myself.
And there,
I found myself.
I am awake.
