Dust

Standard

Call me a silly girl

If you will

I just don’t care anymore.

And i was tied to the riddles of your mind too long

Crawling along on my hands and knees

Finding scraps and pieces;debris.

Forgetting who I am,

My heartbeat ceased.

Now i am rolling the dice,

Look and tell me what you see.

You won’t even look at me.

I am tired of lie after lie.

Call me a slow girl

If you will,

I just don’t care anymore.

Left or right

It don’t make no difference.

I was a fool in the beginning

I ain’t

A fool no more.

Blink and

I disappear.

And all i see is dust in my

Rear view mirror.

The wreckage of me reassembling.

Roam

Standard

I travel and travel on.

Straight roads

And winding roads.

Flying.

Driving.

Crawling.

On the chaos of the main roads

To the quiet of dirt and narrow foot trodden

Routes.

Finding myself

On the game trails between

Birch and pine.

It comes to pass

Once again,

No trail

Before me.

Roaming on.

I am home.

And roaming on I will go

For everywhere

Is home.

Mesmerized

Standard

I am

Mesmerized

By this

Magnifying beauty

Of morning light piercing

Through singular beads of

Dew grouping;

Clinging to green grass and wildflowers

This side of the highway.

These

Simple refractions of

Light;

Such an uncomplicated masterpiece.

And I believe in magic.

Nature does not force

The outcome.

How blessed are we to witness a thing such as

This?

From The Beginning

Standard

And

I dissolve into the sky.

Wanderlust

Takes me by the soul.

The open road.

The crashing surf.

So much magnificence to behold

In

And

On

This earth.

The very roots of the trees share my

Ancient truth.

They know the origin

Of my the journey.

If I stand still

And breathe

I

Remember the connection.

The very source of

The

Beginning.

There

I am.
