By clearing the mind.

Observe and flow.
See that which is created by your mind
And breathe slower,
Go deeper into the stillness.
Feel the stillness expand.
Untie the knots that tether the mind in
One direction and dissipate.
See.
Good or bad there we go again
Wrapping people In
Definitions so tight.
It’s a scary thought to just
Be,
Live undefined.
Love yourself enough to see your own reflection
Instead of others.
Take off the straight jacket.
Let it go.
I leave the house in a hurry
And forget to glance in the mirror.
I return home late afternoon.
When I finally set eyes upon my own reflection,
I smile as
I see not much has changed since yesterday.
Hypocrisy
Does not recognize itself
Even when gazing upon its own reflection in the mirror,
Until willingly,
It removes the mask.
She loved the way he stayed.
The way
He waited
So patiently
For her to undress
Until she was completely
Naked,
Baring her soul.
She saw reflected in his heart
A beauty she had never seen before.
As her eyes met his
She realized he had no intention
Of ever giving her a chance to redress herself.
I’ve crawled.
I’ve clawed my way out.
Feel like I’m barely coming up for air.
I’ve screamed so loud in silence.
I’ve begged and pleaded.
Still barely breathing.
And it seems I’m just invisible.
A reflection of nothing there,
A ghost as thin as air.
Wondering if I’ve ever really been or am I just a

A figment of my imagination
Or somebody else’s creation.
But I can hear myself breathing.

Is there any life inside of me?
Does any flicker of light remain?
I step out of the shadows
Into the moonlight.
As I gaze into you,
I see the broken
Splinters
Of my heart
Reflected upon your face.
They
Sparkle like sunlight through a
Prism.
I am dancing moon glitter.
Full of color
And light.
My reflection,
In you
I shine so bright.
And at this very moment I see my beauty
As you see me.
