When i was young
I was
Always
In a hurry
For
Endings and beginnings.
Now i just want to feel it all.
Savor
Every moment.
When i was young
I was
Always
In a hurry
For
Endings and beginnings.
Now i just want to feel it all.
Savor
Every moment.
Stopping, standing still to
Breathe.
Celebrating endings and beginnings
In the same moment.
Awash with emotion.
Holding myself steady,
Do not know if i am ready
But
It is now
Or never.
Onward I go.
Cold winter rain falls on my
Face.
I like to look up when it is pouring
Allowing myself to
Get completely
Drenched because everything dries
Off eventually right?
It burns my skin
Yet chills my bones.
I love how it makes me feel alive,
My whole body
Shivering to keep me warm.
All the hairs on my body standing up
In protest.
I protest the protest and giggle.
And it always feels so delicious to get warm After
A good chill.
On to a hot shower and into
A pile of blankets
Until another moment shakes up all of
My senses.
Life presents
Continuous moments to marvel.
These most intimate moments
Cannot be put into words.
They do not need to be shared
With others.
They remain here,
Weightless yet filling
The heart.
Time did what the old ones said it would.
It went by fast and now
Sweet child you are grown.
Out into the world you have gone.
How did it feel so slow in moments
Only to be gone all at once?
Every moment
We are awakening.
We are the student and the teacher
In every way.
Each moment
We are teaching each other
How to live and love.
Each moment
We are learning from each other
How to love and live.
Live and love
In this awareness.
These moments,
They pass us by.
Before we can catch our breath,
As we begin to smile.
Between each heartbeat
Memories meet
As souls
And love
Simply
Become
One day
I realized
If I slept too long
I would miss the moments
When the world was quiet.
I would miss
Beauty awakening
And
The first gentle caress of
Light in my world.
I would miss
The silent whisper of the day saying
“Here I am in all my glory just for you. Use me up until there is nothing left.”
