meet

Standard

once we meet ourselves

in our deepest, darkest depths

the parts of us we fear and avoid,

once we embrace ourselves there,

nothing will scare us

we will realize

no one creates our fear for we create ourselves.

once we love our whole self

we see how love is not lacking, only our thoughts creating lack.

Meet

Standard

These are the

Forests i know.

And the devils club,

The fallen trees

They remind me to breathe;

Raindrops on the forget me not.

The song of the wind,

Lichen at me feet.

Mountain tops high. I am cradled safe

In the sloping valley.

Running river wild playing its melody free

As I welcome stillness.

Here I meet myself.

Meet

Standard

You’re more likely to meet a wild one if you

Are quiet and still for they’ve lived a life since

Birth

Of danger and survival

And will not approach if they equate you with a threat.

They can sense threats and lies.

One cannot hide the scent of intentions,

And love is transparent after all.

Emotion

Standard

Every emotion
Felt in a lifetime

Crashing in my gut all at once.

You and I

Face to face.

Loss for words.

Our voices faltering anyway

At the enormity of emotion

In a touch,

A gasp.

And breathing is enough.

Our hands know the way,

We know the way.

The thrill.

Euphoria ignited.

And there we meet together as if

On the very head of a pin.

All thoughts dissolving,

Look no more.

Space-time blooms evermore

And hearts erupt in unison.

Tangled.

Submerged.

You and I

Every inch of skin

Pressed.

Heartbeats thump through

Veins;

A morse code coursing

Unending.

Body language

Perceiving intuitively

Where to go,

When to move,

When to breath.

Stillness absolute.

Open Your Door

Standard

Remember those feelings you have on a day you are struggling.

Perhaps standing still.

Perhaps crawling.

And know that others feel that way.

See them when you look around.

You will recognize them.

Instead of building walls

Against them,

Open

Your door

And step outside to meet them.

Step outside and greet them.

Offer compassion.

Offer love.

For we will never get better

If we do not

Lift each other up.

If we all choose to stay behind walls

And defenses

Alone,

We will never

Heal as people.

Alone.
