Share with me,
If you will,
Your naked passion.
Like poets of old
Did take possesion of
Hearts and minds
By magic
With merely
Pen and paper.

Actually
The thing is,
You actually believe
There is such a thing as normal,
Yet
You refuse to believe in
Magic,
Serendipity,
Dreams
And
Love.
I Do
15 years old
Asleep on the wooden
Floor
In a sheep station in the
Outback.
Something.
Someone woke me.
All was still.
I could hear the heavy breathing of deep slumber from those around me.
And through the windows shone glorious
Like none my eyes had seen before,
Moonlight,
Lighting up the night
Like the sun.
Carefully i rose from my
Sleeping bag
So as not to disturb the others
And tiptoed to the door.
Such excitement filled my blood
As i stepped outside.
There
The moon
She showed herself
In such splendor,
Super moon
So big
On the horizon
She touched my soul.
My heart swelled to greet her
And my tears thanked her.
I believe I was cleansed that night
As the others dreamt,
I lived.
There i was
Standing in the red dirt
Glowing beneath my feet.
Ancient voices
Whispering to my heart.
Ancient ghosts holding my hands
Showing me
Teaching me
Without words.
Holding me in love.
Bathing me in holy light.
I do believe in magic.
Magic Spell
I will not stand
Upon a mountain high
And scream for you.
I will whisper your name
And feel it roll off my tongue
And over my lips
Like a
Magic Spell.
Where it will
Scatter
Over the hills
And above the clouds.
You will hear it
In your heart
And sense the time is now.
Your soul knows why
And this will defy all
Logic.
Magic
She knows what it feels like to be invisible.
To be in a room with hundreds
Of people
And,
Like the air,
They breathe her in not realizing
She is there.
Her heartbeat the passion of the music.
The cellos
The violins,
And the dance.
Her presence creating a magical trance
And strangers smile as she drifts by,
Not knowing why.
There is delight in their hearts
At the gentle brush
Of her hand as she passes through,
A mere whisper of a breeze.
Her aura
At the tip of their memory.
Something they long for entirely
But cannot quite reach.
A haunting memory
Of a desire to hold onto
Yet
Out of their grasp,
She slips away.
And they,
The strangers
Are left asking
One another
If anyone else sensed the
Magic
They cannot describe.
If I Were Near
If I were near,
Would you lie under the stars with me
And greet them one by one?
Would you meet the moon’s gaze
With a smile
And welcome her to the night?
If I were near,
Would you dance lightly to our melody
And fall to the ground
Entwined in the magic
Of it all?
If I were near,
Would you gaze upon the spaces
Between the stars
And wonder?
Would you fly freely
And breathe deeply,
The light and love
Swirling in the cosmos
And dream of coming back
For more?
