Those who have lived
More than one life
In this lifetime
Know that forgiveness is
True
Love.
Those who have lived
More than one life
In this lifetime
Know that forgiveness is
True
Love.
Annihilation
Of
Ghosts.
A confrontation
Imploring.
Awaiting to come forth
Into realization.
Not a fight to the death.
Not a fight to win.
First met with hesitation
And predetermined defeat.
Ultimately cradling one another.
A taste of tenderness desired all the while.
Myself
Consoling haunting apparitions
I alone created.
Finding there was only love completely,
For they were always mine.
Me.
Seduce.
You lure and entice.
A poet’s seduction.
A maker of sighs and smiles.
Words of reality woven
Into the ink of fantasy
Until you cannot tell
Which one you have become.
Which one you yearn for.
Words caressing your heart and mind.
Finding their way into depths
Even you yourself cannot find.
Tempting and tantalizing
Between passion and longing.
Loneliness and belonging.
Lust and hate
Love and distaste.
You’ve left yourself
Bargaining for
More than a phrase.
She thought.
She did not think.
She loved.
She believed she loved.
She thought she was awake.
She was only dreaming
So
Here she lies staring
At the ceiling.
And
Sleep evades her
This darkest night
As so many nights before.
Once again she tosses and turns,
Unpleasant thoughts raging inside her brain.
More often than not this bed is no friend.
Every moment
We are awakening.
We are the student and the teacher
In every way.
Each moment
We are teaching each other
How to live and love.
Each moment
We are learning from each other
How to love and live.
Live and love
In this awareness.
I hold on to things
Life has left
For
Far too long.
I put them under my pillow
While I dream.
And
Weave them into the wild flowers in my hair.
I seem to carry a
Concealed hope
That they might come back to life
If only I
Love them enough.
You are afraid of the way she leaves you
Reeling.
She can feel you.
See more than your skin.
Parts of you not one single heart has
Seen.
Or held.
No questions
Or explanations.
Just being.
You move to her without resistance
For there is none left,
Not even in your darkest parts.
The voices have hushed.
She has penetrated and annihilated the threat
For she is audacious.
Reached into them with her unspoken light
And held each one to her soul.
Singing them to sleep
Without destroying herself.
Now look.
Without fear there is only
Love.
I lay my head upon your chest.
Each heartbeat I feel upon my cheek.
Strong and steady it speaks
A message meant for me
Hidden
In every
Rhythmic beat.
A serene soul whisper.
“I am love.
“You are loved.”
Our love cannot be
Written in a poem.
The mere thought
Of it makes my heart tremble.
It is those words left unspoken,
Unwritten
Floating free
Between the ink and paper.
It is omnipresent
Yet
Cannot be possessed.
