Longest Ache

Standard

The longest ache.

Tears form in the corner of my eyes when

I remember the magic i felt,

The beauty I witnessed.

And I remember wiping

The red dust from my cheeks

So long ago.

The joy and the wonder a new sight can

bring,

The souls one meets that love a song.

To think

Once

I did not believe.

It was another life now

And then another

And here I am still in wonder.

The longest ache sears through my veins.

The yearning remains.

The ancient beats within my heart reverberate

Through time unseen in synchronization with those who came before

And those yet to come.

Take In

Standard

Come my love
Soften your skin onto mine.
Let go all barriers.
Let go all doubt.
Let go the veil that hides
Your heart.
Your eyes.
And allow yourself
Contentment.
Allow yourself this moment.
Let your hands wander.
Eyes open to see.
Feel it seep away;
The fear.
Come my love
Indulge your wanting.
Feel again in you
That which has been hollow,
That which has been longing.
And
Together let us
Take in love.

Breathless

Standard

Breathless.
I want you so close (us so close)
So deep within (each other)
We cannot take a breath (I cannot breathe).
So intertwined,
The air cannot move between our bodies (our souls).
I wish for your fingers to be tangled in my hair.
Our lips pleading,
Dripping wet and bruised from love (our love).
I long to make you feel so weak
You cannot stir
(we are unable to move)
Your soul (my soul) will only weep for more.

Only your heart (my heart) will whisper my

Name (your name)

As we are

Breathless.

Momma’s Violin

Standard

Momma would pick up the violin

When her heart was breaking.

And the strings she would play

Until her fingers,

They were aching.

And her tears

Made the melody

Flow from her soul.

Even though I was young,

I felt it in my blood.

The love and the hate.

The longing and yearning

As it echoed from impossible

Depths.

Each note

Bleeding

Out

From the

Fissures

Of her

Heart.
