Waiting for a connection.
Watching people go by,
A few looking  quite frantic.
Ready to board their plane
And fly away.
Most staring straight ahead
One destination on their mind.
Always flying away.
They are all so distracted,
Staring at their phones
And tripping
Over nothing.
Dreaming of flying away.
And I wonder what
Tales the
Luggage carousel
Might tell.
