There are lists people make,
All of these qualities and qualifications
That define
What makes a “strong” person.
I laugh at those words,
If you wake every morning and live
And that is all you feel you have the strength to do,
You are strong.
Period.
We are each strong in our big, beautiful,
Human way.
You have tied yourself
Securely
To the anger and hate of the
Past.
Proudly you stand
Wearing it like a badge of
Honor.
But,
If you look around you will see
You remain completely still.
Unchanged.
You must cut the chords.
It is the only way to fly.
Soar above and transcend.
Then you will realize
Peace and love are always in you.
Do not let these ideas of
Who you think you should be
Fix the parameters of you.
You are more than who you try to
Create.
You are infinite.
There are
No words
Or ideas
Which define
Your
Soul.

There is such peace
And freedom
In releasing the need to explain and define
Yourself to others.
If they do not see you
Then they are not ready for your magic,
(Just as you may not see them)
And that is okay.
Just keep standing tall
And love all.
