In veins;

No hunger nor thirst exists where souls entwine.

The olives on the trees are not quite ripe
And the grapes are bitter.
I am impatient.
This does not discourage the
Sky hawks.
They are too busy staying alive;
Swooping and gliding in the air as they
Ingest sustenance to

The average lifespan of a housefly
Is 40 to 50 days
And I am merely sitting here idly watching
Them move about my window.

Wonder if they would prefer to be outside.
With every blink of my eyes
Time moves faster for the fly than I.
