Do not fear the
Infinite depths
Of your own ocean
Simply because the
People around you cannot
Swim.

spinning
bare
the new grass tickling my skin
the world spinning as i look
up
and see you
smiling
and the touch of your hand as you brush my cheek
gravity releases its hold on us
and we float above
gone
there is love
and the world is gone
the air is gone
and I wake
there is love
and the new flowers bloom
Salvation
As If You Did Nothing
I do not think you know this
Because
You are
Always looking at others
As if
Better than yourself,
But
Light itself
Travels the universe
With joy
To be
Reflected
From your skin.
You cast that love so far,
So high,
You have helped others create wings
To touch the sky.
And then you smile
And
You walk away.
You walk away as if
You
Did nothing.
Still There
I saw the sun shining through
A little break in the clouds.
Shining down
Far away from me.
And I wondered,
Will whoever those rays of
Sun are shining on
Take a moment to
Look up and see
The sun is still there?
Reflection
I leave the house in a hurry
And forget to glance in the mirror.
I return home late afternoon.
When I finally set eyes upon my own reflection,
I smile as
I see not much has changed since yesterday.
Open
Please throw open every
Door
And each window in this house
When you speak of death.
Let fresh air fill every space
Light cannot reach within.
I must catch my breath.
I must see the sky.
I need to hear
Birdsong interwoven with
Your words.
