And so the tiredness settled into her bones.
Long had been the fight.
Sorrow had been her burden for too long
Confusion had blurred her sight.
With heavy heart
She lay herself down
In the daisies
And stared at the clouds above
Allowing the earth to cradle her bones.
Oh, to be a cloud drifting so weightlessly.
Nothing but the air to
Kiss her body up there.
The silence so clear up high.
To glide
Upon the wind
And breathe harmony
So free.
To drift and never return
